"William is an amazing physical therapist with an encyclopedic knowledge and understanding of the human body combined with an encouraging and realistic approach to recovery, occupational therapy, and sustainability. He has encouraged me and enabled me to continue with the work that I love after serious physical disabilities. I recommend him highly!" Captain Mike Bosley, Dragonfly Sportfishing, Orleans Massachusetts (August 2022)
"We have so benefited from Meghan Howley's good care that we would like to share her name with everyone. Professional, kind, attentive - our aches and pains and stiff muscles are much improved. We feel so much better." - Lynn and Richard in Chatham (November 2021)
"Bill and Meg from HomeBodies, LLC were very helpful in quickly setting me up as one of Bill's patients when it was going to be six weeks to see a therapist at other places. Bill came to our house with the needed equipment (including an exam/exercise table) to provide expertise in defining what is causing my pain and walking issues. Now he is providing therapy and exercise homework so I am seeing great improvement. With Covid it is nice to receive this quality care in my home and Bill takes all the necessary important precautions." - Betsie Lind in Eastham (December 2020)
"Homebodies service is a lifesaver for me! Bill is terrific! He is always patient, knowledgeable and professional! When he works on me he always explains what he is doing and why and is keenly aware of your pain level and the experience is always a positive one! I look forward to his visits and feel very fortunate to have him as my PT and my friend. I give Homebodies my highest recommendation!" - Skip Appleyard in Orleans (December 2020)
"I herniated two discs in my back while working out with a trainer. I had developed sciatic pain and the trainer did not recognize the significance of the issue. I was then treated by two physical therapists over a period of several years but re-injured my back repeatedly. Meghan Howley was recommended to me by a friend who had great success recovering from a severe back injury. My back injury had resulted in a steady decline in my overall health and well-being. Meghan did a thorough analysis of my physical condition and provided clear guidance on exercises. I performed the exercises regularly and recovered slowly but surely.
When I finished physical therapy, my goal was to increase my fitness level. I searched for a fitness trainer but most had limited knowledge of anatomy and body mechanics so I was concerned that I would get re-injured. Meghan has a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University so she is able to apply her knowledge of anatomy and body mechanics to fitness training. She designs exercises that utilize multiple muscle groups simultaneously which maximizes efficiency and mimics actual real-life movement. I have worked with her for the last 2 years and have made tremendous progress. It is amazing how much you can achieve with limited equipment. A stability ball, medicine ball, hand weights, some bands, and a TRX enable me to workout fully with limited space and financial investment. My fitness level is the best it has been in 20 years! I am grateful to Meghan for her dedication to my well-being and will be working with her for many years to come." - GL in Chatham (December 2020)
"I injured my tailbone three years ago. After several visits to a chiropractor, acupuncturist, and countless YouTube videos, the pain would not go away. I received a call from the acupuncturist (who tried her best), informing me that a client of hers, who had a bruised tailbone had success with a Physical Therapist and gave me Meghan's name. In my first visit with Meghan she fixed the issue. Meghan's skills are truly like no one else. Her knowledge and resourcefulness is vast and we are lucky to have her on the Cape." RS in Orleans (May 2020)
"I have undergone 12 surgeries, including two knee and one hip replacement, in my 76 years and had physical therapy after many of them. Meghan Howley has been among the top physical therapists, and most probably THE top physical therapist, I have worked with to recover. Not only is she thoroughly familiar with the state of the art practices in the therapy world, she is a personable and enthusiastic therapist. This is the most important, in my opinion, as it makes the sometimes stressful sessions pass more quickly, and makes you want to work hard to please her and become the "teacher's pet" of her clients. One non-surgical therapy she worked with me on was positional vertigo and she cured me of this most distressing condition in one session! Overall, I think Meghan Howley is a first class therapist and a terrific person!" - Anton Anderson in Eastham (May 2020)
